Privacy Policy

ActionMoments is local-first by design. The current Android release does not upload your raw video content to our servers as part of the normal workflow.

Core promise

Your source footage stays on your device by default.

ActionMoments helps users review local or camera-sourced material, identify highlight candidates, and export selected clips for later editing without uploading raw video as a normal part of the product flow.

Permissions

Permissions are used for media and camera workflows, not ads.

Depending on Android version and whether you use remote camera features, the app may request Bluetooth, Nearby Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi state, location on older Android versions for BLE scanning, and Internet permission for local-network communication with supported remote cameras.

These permissions are not used for advertising or precise location tracking.

Data We Process

The current release processes only what is needed to review, connect, and export.

Local video footage

  • Used when you choose a local video for analysis.
  • Processed on-device to generate candidate clips, preview moments, and export selected segments.
  • Not uploaded to our servers as part of the normal workflow.

Camera connection and preview data

  • Used when you connect supported remote cameras such as GoPro or Insta360.
  • May include local-network communication, camera SSID information, media list metadata, and preview-related data.
  • Used only to support camera browsing, connection, and import workflows.

Device and environment data

  • May include Android version, device model, app version, and permission state.
  • Used for compatibility, debugging, and release support.

Local anonymous counters and diagnostics data

  • May include local counts for exports, manual adjustments, and similar anonymous usage actions.
  • Stored locally on-device by default and do not include raw video content.
  • If additional diagnostics support is introduced later, the policy and in-app disclosure will be updated first.

How We Use Data

  • Analyze selected videos on-device
  • Discover and connect supported remote cameras
  • Preview, import, and export selected clips
  • Improve product quality through local diagnostics and future support workflows

Sharing and retention

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not upload your video content to our servers.
  • Temporary analysis caches are stored locally and may be cleared by the app.
  • Exported clips remain where you choose to store them.
  • Local counters remain on-device unless you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Children

ActionMoments is not designed for children under 13.
